Game Day Volunteer Opportunities

Your support helps create a smooth, fun, and successful game day experience for our athletes, families, and fans.

Your Support Matters

Game day would not be possible without the amazing support of our volunteers. Whether you are helping with the scoreboard, running the snack shack, managing the gates, or assisting on the field, every bit of time you give makes a huge difference.

Some volunteer roles are perfect for when your child is playing, allowing you to stay close while still contributing. Other roles may be better suited before or after your child’s game.

Team parents will assist with coordinating the volunteer schedule, but we kindly ask that families sign up in advance for a time slot.

Need to split a shift?

If you cannot volunteer for the full shift, you may coordinate with another parent to split the time. If you are unable to make your scheduled shift, please find a replacement so game day continues to run smoothly.

Scoreboard Operator

Perfect for anyone, with a great view from above!

Operates the scoreboard during the game, displaying the current score, game time, and down information. Ensures the score and timing are accurate and updated in real time.

Snack Shack Runner

Great for keeping service moving quick.

Delivers food and drink orders from the kitchen or prep area to the snack shack counter. Also assists with restocking snacks and drinks as needed.

Lower Gate

Great for supporting entry and fundraising.

Manages the lower entry and exit area, sells 50/50 tickets, supports fundraising, keeps the gate area organized, and helps direct fans.

Play Count Away

Helpful for supporting fair play and game tracking.

Tracks and announces the play count for the visiting team, helping ensure coaches and players are aware of play count status throughout the game.

Great for those who enjoy being in the spotlight.

Calls the game over the PA system, announces player names, keeps the crowd informed, and may share team updates, game information, and sponsor details.

Snack Shack Cook

Perfect for helping behind the scenes.

Prepares and cooks snack shack food such as hot dogs, burgers, and other quick items. Helps ensure food is prepared safely, quickly, and ready for sale.

Perfect for your child’s game — no better view than the field!

Displays the current down on the field, moves the marker as each play is run, and communicates with officials to ensure the correct down is shown.

Helpful for supporting the home team during the game.

Tracks and announces the play count for the home team, helping coaches and players stay aware of remaining plays and game requirements.

Ideal before or after your child’s game.

Handles customer transactions, operates the cash register, provides accurate change, and helps support snack shack organization during busy times.

Perfect before or after your child’s game.

Manages entry at the upper gate, collects entry fees for visiting spectators, sells 50/50 tickets, supports fundraising, and helps direct fans.

Perfect for your child’s game — right on the field!

Works with a partner to hold and move the chains for the first-down marker. Helps track where the team needs to reach for a first down.
